Our Story
At Great Steps ABA, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that empowers children and their families to build meaningful skills, increase independence, and achieve lasting, real-life success. We strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every child feels valued, every family feels heard, and meaningful progress is celebrated every step of the way.
Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
Meet the Owner
Hello, my name is Marlana Greathouse, and I am the owner of Great Steps ABA.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 12 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, including the past 8 years practicing as a BCBA. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Kent State University, where I developed a strong foundation in communication and child development. Shortly after graduating, I began my first role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and quickly realized this was the field I was truly passionate about. That experience inspired me to continue my education and pursue my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University, allowing me to further expand my skills and impact in working with children and families.
I have dedicated my career to supporting children and their families through compassionate, individualized care. My approach is rooted in building meaningful relationships, understanding each child’s unique strengths, and creating practical strategies that support growth in everyday life. I am passionate about empowering families with the tools and confidence they need to navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and help their child reach their fullest potential in a supportive and collaborative environment.
